About this site

One person, one ring, real data. No review units, no sponsorship, and a plain explanation of how this site makes money.

Who I am

I'm Michael, a software developer in the UK. I'm not a sports scientist, a physiologist, or a full-time reviewer — I'm someone who wore an Apple Watch every day from the original Series 1 in 2015 and eventually got tired of charging it every night and sleeping with a computer strapped to my wrist.

I bought an Ultrahuman Ring AIR with my own money, in size 10, through the same referral programme this site uses. Nobody sent it to me. There is no review unit, no sponsorship, no PR contact, and no relationship with Ultrahuman beyond being a customer who joined their refer-a-friend scheme.

I wear it on my non-dominant index finger and have done daily since. Everything on this site comes from that — my own photos, my own screenshots, my own battery figures.

Why this site exists

It started as a practical problem. Once I'd bought the ring I had a referral link, and the obvious thing to do with it was share it. But every page I found when searching for an "Ultrahuman discount code" was a scraped coupon aggregator listing codes that didn't work, or a thin affiliate page written by someone who'd clearly never worn the thing.

So I built the page I'd wanted to find: what the discount actually is, what it costs after the discount, whether the ring is any good, and what it doesn't do. If you use the link, I get referral credit. If you read the review and decide against it, that's a perfectly good outcome too — there's a whole section on what the ring can't do for exactly that reason.

How this site makes money — in full

Ultrahuman's refer-a-friend programme gives you 10% off your order, and gives me credit toward a free Ultrahuman Home device after five successful referrals. That's the entire arrangement.

I'm not paid per click, I don't earn a cash commission, and I never see your payment details — you buy directly from ultrahuman.com. Your price is identical whether you use my link or not, except that with it you pay 10% less. Every outbound link on this site is marked rel="sponsored".

How I keep this accurate

Affiliate sites rot. Prices change, products get replaced, and the incentive is to leave the page up and collect the clicks. A few rules I try to hold myself to:

  • Prices are checked in a live basket, not copied from a press release, and stamped with the date I checked them.
  • Dates reflect real updates. If a page says it was updated in August, something on it actually changed in August.
  • Corrections stay visible. When I get something wrong, I fix it and say what changed rather than quietly editing. The AIR vs PRO page carries a "what changed in 2026" note for this reason, and the subscription page exists because the "no subscription, ever" line I'd repeated stopped being precisely true.
  • No fake urgency. No countdown timers, no invented stock levels, no "only 3 left". The referral discount is always 10% and always available.

What I can't tell you

Worth being straight about the limits. I own a Ring AIR, not a Ring PRO — the PRO specifications on this site come from Ultrahuman's own documentation and press coverage, clearly dated, not from my wrist. I haven't done clinical validation of the sensors against a polysomnograph. And I've only worn this ring on one body, which is a sample size of one.

Where I'm reporting my own experience I say so. Where I'm reporting a manufacturer's claim, I say that too.

Get in touch

If something on this site is out of date or wrong, I'd genuinely like to know — corrections make the site more useful and cost me nothing. Email hello@ultrahumanringdiscount.com.

Particularly useful: a price that's drifted since the date stamped on the page, a spec I've got wrong, or a regional store behaving differently from what I've described. I check prices in a live basket when I update a page, but I can only check one region at a time.
